Gulf Air Falcon Cargo, the national carrier’s cargo department, recently celebrated its Annual Agent Award Night at the Westin Dhaka in collaboration with Bengal Airlift Ltd.
Bengal Airlift Group, an Aviation, Travel and Logistics service provider; has been in partnership with Gulf Air Falcon Cargo as its exclusive cargo GSA in Bangladesh since 1984. Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, commenced operations in 1950, becoming one of the first commercial airlines established in the Middle East. The airline operates scheduled flights from its hub at Bahrain International Airport to cities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian sub-continent and the Far East.
Representing Gulf Air at the event were Wael Mattar, Senior Manager Cargo, and Isa Abdulhusain, Gulf Air Country Manager – Bangladesh. Also in attendance was the Board of Directors of Bengal Airlift including Chairman Barrister Mehnaz Mannan, Managing Director Arif Rahman, Director Faiqa Naser; along with senior management staff of Group ED & Divisional CEO Bahauddin Miah and COO Airlines Division Shumaiz Iqbal.
Top 15 global and local freight forwarding brands contributing consistently to the revenue and volume were awarded. Furthermore, certain agent representatives were recognized for patronizing and commitment towards long term partnership with Gulf Air, in addition to the remarkable contributors from GSA staff for meeting sales targets and operation KPIs.
