Three more customers in the country’s port city ‘Chattogram’ got 200 percent cash vouchers award buying Walton brand refrigerators under the company’s nationwide ongoing ‘Fridge Winter Festival’ offer.
The awardees were: housewife Akter Begum of Kapasgola, Rintu Shwarma of GEC and Md. Wadud Miah of Bishwa Bank Colony at Colonel Hat.
Recently, Walton Plaza’s three branches in the port city—Lalkhan Bazar, Chawk Bazar and City Gate—jointly organised a programme titled ‘200% Cash Voucher Hand Over Ceremony’ at Karnaphully Shishu Park at Agrabad.
At the event, country’s renowned film actor and model Abdun Noor Shajal handed over the 200% cash vouchers to the respective Walton fridge customers.
Walton has been offering maximum 200% cash vouchers or sure cash back under its ongoing ‘Fridge Winter Festival,’ an initiative of encouraging customers taking part in the company’s ‘Digital Campaign Season-5 through registering their purchased products.
The local brand has been conducting the campaign across the country aimed to accelerate the process of bringing its post sales services under the digitalized system through preparing online customer database. During this campaign, product’s details, including customer name and contact number, are stored on Walton’s server. The database will help customers getting quick after sales service from any Walton service center even if the warranty card is lost. Service center representatives can also get customers’ feedback.
Addressing the function, Actor Shajal said, “Who loves Bangladesh, they should also love the ‘Made in Bangladesh’ labelled products. If we get highest standard locally made appliances at reasonable prices, why we will buy imported products. Thus, each and every Bangladeshis should purchase our own domestic brand (Walton) products.”
Of late, housewife Akter Begum purchased a 365 liter capacities’ refrigerator from Walton Plaza Chawk Bazar branch and then she confirmed the online registration of the fridge through customer name, mobile number and product’s barcode. After a while, she got an SMS in her mobile phone from Walton with the notification that she was awarded with 200 percent cash voucher, worth of Tk 80,780, under the ‘Winter Festival’ offer of Walton Digital Campaign Season 5. Later, Akter Begum spend the awarded cash vouchers in purchasing a Walton brand’s 1.09 meter or 43-inch smart television, freezer, washing machine and blender.
Another customer Rintu Sharma of GEC area in the port city also got 200% cash vouchers after purchased a side by side inverter technology’s non-frost refrigerator from Walton Plaza Lalkhan Bazar branch. With the cash voucher’s amount, he purchased the local brand’s 49-inch LED television, smart phone, gas stove, ceiling fan, rice cooker, pressure cooker, blender and other sorts of home and kitchen appliances.
Apart from Akter Begum and Rintu Shwarma, one more customer named Md. Wadud Miah was also awarded with 200% cash voucher on the purchase of a refrigerator from Walton Plaza City Gate branch. He also bought a Walton brand’s 32-inch LED television, ceiling and rechargeable fan, water filter, stabilizer and LED bulb.
According to Walton authorities, each and every fridge of the local brand is being supplied to the market after getting the quality testing certificate from the international standard Nusdat-Universal Testing Lab. Walton brand refrigerators have been received several standards’ certifications at national and international, including BSTI’s ‘Five Star’ energy rating, ISO, OHSAS, EMC, CB, ROHS, SASO, ESMA, ESHA, G-Mark, E-Mark etc. And thus, Walton made refrigerators are being exporting to different countries of the world.
World’s latest technologies like intelligent inverter, nano-health care and anti-fungal door gasket are being used in Walton fridge. One-year replacement guaranty and also 12 years guaranty on compressors are offered to Walton fridge customer.
Walton is now manufacturing and marketing more than 150 models of frost, non-frost refrigerators and freezers and beverage coolers in the local market. Prices of these fridges are between Tk 10,000 and Tk 69,900.
