Mastercard launched its ‘Magical Barcelona’ campaign today at a city hotel in Dhaka. The campaign aims to bolster domestic and overseas retail transactions, providing cardholders the opportunity to win exciting prizes by making purchases with their Mastercard credit, debit and prepaid cards throughout the winter season.

The Spanish city, associated with a rich history and heritage, offers numerous attractions such as museums, excellent palaces, historic buildings and cultural centers. The other winners of this campaign will receive a range of exciting prizes, including travel packages to other exciting destinations, and attractive gift items such as gadgets and lifestyle gift Vouchers.

Participants of this campaign will be able to earn 3 points by using their Mastercard debit, credit and prepaid cards for every overseas retail transaction of USD 25 or above, 2 points for every local retail or e-commerce transaction of Taka 1000 or more and 3 points for every retail or e-commerce transaction of BDT 1000 or more with the newly issued (issuance from October 2019 to January 2020) Mastercard credit, debit or prepaid cards. A cardholder will need to make at least 4 transactions to participate in this campaign.
