Users and Riders to get more features from Pathao

Pathao Limited, the largest on-demand digital platform in Bangladesh, has recently brought new features both for their users and riders. The new features include hassle-free digital transaction, adjusting driver’s dues through Pathao app, voice instruction training for Drivers, and live chat support for everyone. All of these features are designed to make the experience of using the app more enjoyable for customers.

Pathao has recreated the digital payment process into a faster and effortless 1-step process. From now on, users can complete Digital Payments with third-party payment services very quickly by saving their accounts in Pathao app. Before, digital payments took multiple steps; users needed to enter their account number, verify OTP, and their PIN every time they made a payment. Under the new feature, users will only need to enter their PIN once when making a digital payment using a saved account. The digital payment process is now a faster and effortless 1-step process.

For Pathao’s freelance drivers, paying the commission to Pathao had been a slightly lengthy process. Now drivers can pay directly from the Pathao Drive app, using third-party digital payment services, such as bKash and cards. With the new system, paid dues are now automatically adjusted within minutes.

Pathao is mostly excited about the voice instruction feature for Pathao’s Riders and Captains. This new feature is an in-app pre-recorded voice instruction training with troubleshooting processes described in an easy-to-understand manner. These voice instructions allow drivers to solve most of the issues by themselves. It makes the driver’s experience easier and empowers the drivers to provide even better service to the users. The voice training section of the Pathao Drive app also includes the answers to the common questions asked by the riders and captains on a regular basis.

Lastly, to give an even better customer experience, Pathao has introduced live chat support. Whatever questions the users and riders have now, they can chat with Pathao Support in messenger. This offers the same solutions as phone calls, even faster than calling support. Live chat is already available on Facebook Messenger and will be very soon available in the Pathao app.
