Reckitt Benckiser join hands to build Hygienic Bangladesh

Bangladesh Scouts and Reckitt Benckiser Bangladesh will work together to build a Clean & Hygienic Bangladesh and to make people aware about cleanliness. These two organizations expressed their solidarity in working under the campaign ‘Dettol Harpic Porichchonno Bangladesh’ at the Bangladesh Scouts National Head Quarters in Kakrail, recently.

Arshadul Mukaddish, Executive Director (Acting), Bangladesh Scouts and Vishal Gupta, General Manager, Reckitt Benckiser, Bangladesh and Sri-Lanka have signed the Expression of Interest (EOI) for working together to build a clean Bangladesh.

Chaired by Md. Shah Kamal, the Senior Secretary of Disaster Management and Relief Ministry and the National Commissioner of Bangladesh Scouts (Social Development and Health), the Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) (Investigation) and the Chief Secretary of Bangladesh Scouts, Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque Khan was present as Chief Guests in the program. Syed Tanzim Rezwan, Marketing Director, Reckitt Benckiser Bangladesh limited, Riaz, Popular Actor and Ambassador of “Dettol Harpic Porichchonno Bangladesh” Campaign, Manjeno Raihan Khan, Chief Operating Director (COD), Concito PR, along with the high officials of the companies were also present at the ceremony.

Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque Khan Said, “Health and cleanliness is very important. There is so much to work on about this matter. If all of us work together, success will surely come and the problems regarding health and cleanliness will be solved. Thus, we will get a happy and prosperous Bangladesh”.

Mr. Md. Shah Kamal said, “There is a program named Clean City, Clean Bangladesh of Bangladesh Scouts. There is enough resemblance between our idea and the idea of Porichchonno Bangladesh. If we can work together, only then we can make this idea come true. We want to extent our activity from the City to the Union. If we can work with the huge number of members of Bangladesh Scouts, we believe we will be successful”.

Arshadul Mukaddish said, “We want to work with Reckitt Benckiser in Clean & Hygienic Campaign with the 17 lacs manpower of Bangladesh Scouts. I hope we can definitely build a clean Bangladesh”.

Tanzim Rezwan said, “A clean & hygienic Bangladesh is what all of us want. Since last two years as a part of Reckitt Benckiser, we are working on creating awareness regarding cleanliness. Under the Dettol and Harpic brands, the public has been encouraged about the personal hygiene and the community hygiene across the country. We are really happy and proud as Bangladesh Scouts showed their interest to work on creating cleanliness awareness. We believe that Clean & Hygienic Bangladesh will really embody the form very soon, with the motivation and awareness of all”.

Popular Actor and The Ambassador of “Dettol Harpic Porichchonno Bangladesh” Campaign, Riaz said, “It is high time to be united against the uncleanliness. Thanks to Reckitt Benckiser and Bangladesh Scouts to express solidarity for working together in this matter. Such collaborative attitude will play a significant role in building a clean & hygienic Bangladesh”.

Manjeno Raihan Khan said, “It is not possible for an individual person or an institution to build the clean & hygienic Bangladesh. We all have to come forward to make this dream come true. Keeping all the business purpose as well as other regular works aside, we are delighted to be a part of this wonderful campaign”.

It is to be noted that, to make people from all parts of the country aware of the health and cleanliness, the country has started the ‘Dettol Harpic Porichchonno Bangladesh’ campaign in February, 2017. Under this, people are being made aware by direct training as well as by the media.
