Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb said, “The current interim government is working to formulate national policies for AI, cloud and semiconductors. So, for all those things, we will launch a grand digital transformation master plan. Huawei has a significant market share in telecommunication and ICT. Therefore, it has a role here which can help this transformation. So, I would like to welcome Huawei to engage with more and more universities with AI and digital and computer technology labs, so that our youth can get opportunities in the country.”

Shish Haider Chowdhury said, “Bangladesh is heading towards the digital transformation and in this process of transformation, Huawei is a great and trusted partner of Bangladesh. I congratulate Huawei and China for this wonderful global initiative, which they have taken supporting more than 18,000 plus students and partnering with more than 500 institutions across the world.”

Li Shaopeng said, “I would like to express my graduates to Huawei for its commitment to advancing local talent development and for its outstanding contributions to deepening China- Bangladesh cooperation in the information and the communication technology sector. Huawei has implemented this program for 11 consecutive years with a total of more than 120 outstanding Bangladesh participants receiving training opportunities in China. Many of them have now become leaders in the ICT fields in Bangladesh, and some of them are working for Huawei Bangladesh, contributing to China- Bangladesh cooperation.”

At the inauguration event, Wu Ji, President, Huawei South Asia & CEO, Huawei Bangladesh, said, “Over the years, this program has served as a bridge between global innovation and local potential, providing Bangladeshi students with access to world-class training, cross-cultural experiences, and hands-on practice in advanced ICT fields.
