Former Australian cricket star David Warner is set to make a special cameo appearance in the highly anticipated Telugu film “Robinhood,” starring Nithin. The announcement, confirmed by producer Ravi Shankar, has generated significant buzz among fans of both the cricketer and Indian cinema.
Warner, known for his explosive batting and charismatic personality, will be seen in a brief but impactful role in the film. Sources indicate he will be compensated one crore rupees per day for his appearance.
His connection to the Telugu-speaking region, particularly through his successful tenure with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has made him a beloved figure. This existing popularity is expected to draw a wider audience to “Robinhood.”

The film, directed by Venky Kudumula, is scheduled for release on March 28th. The producer publicly apologized to the director for revealing the cameo before they had planned to.
