In collaboration with Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) Student’s Forum ULAB Chapter and ULAB Department of CSE, a panel discussion session on ‘IT Career Scenario: Local and International Market’ is going to be arranged at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) on 29th May of 2015 at 4:00pm.
In the session, career aspects in IT arena will be discussed by honorable guests and leaders in IT industry of Bangladesh. The focus of the session is to increase career consciousness among students to create better IT professionals.
The guests of honor and panelists of the session is going to be Former President of BASIS and Co-Founder of CSLSoft Mr. Rafiqul Islam Rowly, Joint Secretary General of BASIS and Managing Director of Advanced ERP Mr. Mostafizur Rahaman Sohel, Director of BASIS and Convener of BASIS Students’ Forum Mr. Ariful Hasan Opu, Director of Cloud Team 6 and Virtustream Mr. Mohammad Zaman and Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department of ULAB Professor Dr. Sazzad Hossain.
The event will be moderated by Mentor of BASIS Students’ Forum-ULAB chapter, Saugata Bose, Assistant Professor of CSE Department of ULAB.
The topics will include the current IT job market scenario, major obstacles that prevent growth, how to overcome these obstacles, latest hiring scenario in IT sector, human resource and skills required in IT sector, entrepreneurial opportunities in IT sector etc. The event is open for all upon registration.
