TikTok signs with Bongo to become the official Entertainment Partner of Shark Tank Bangladesh

TikTok has announced its role as the Entertainment Partner for the inaugural season of Shark Tank Bangladesh produced by Bongo.

This partnership marks a milestone in TikTok’s mission to inspire creativity and bring joy, providing a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship in Bangladesh.

For Bongo, it is the first time collaborating with a social media platform which is a milestone as it will increase its distribution footprint.

Shark Tank, the globally acclaimed business reality show, that has seen adaptation in over 40 countries, debuted in Bangladesh in April 2024.

This venture is brought to the local audience by BongoBD in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment, with broadcasts on Deepto TV and streaming on Bongo.

Under this partnership, TikTok will host exclusive content under the hashtag #SharkTankBD, featuring #WhatToWatch and trending topics, engaging users with interactive and fresh content surrounding the show.

The official Shark Tank Bangladesh TikTok account has already amassed over 155.5K followers, illustrating the community’s enthusiasm and engagement with the show.

This partnership will also encourage the creation and sharing of engaging long-form content, extending beyond one-minute videos, enhancing viewer engagement, and offering deeper insights into the entrepreneurial journeys featured on the show.

“This partnership with Shark Tank Bangladesh aligns with our commitment to supporting local talent and entrepreneurs.

We are excited to see this collaboration to foster innovation and creativity, and we look forward to becoming a part of the entrepreneurial journey of many Bangladeshis,” said Pooja Dutta, Head of Content Operations, South Asia, TikTok.

Shark Tank Bangladesh aims to offer a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to bring their ideas to life, providing them not only with the necessary capital but also with mentorship from seasoned investors.

“We are very excited to partner with TikTok. We know it’s a platform that is growing and used by millions in Bangladesh and globally.

At Bongo, we always try to entertain users anytime anywhere which is what we are trying to do through this partnership,” said Fayaz Taher, Co-Founder and COO of Bongo.

TikTok, as the Entertainment Partner, will play a crucial role in amplifying these stories of innovation and determination, inspiring a new generation of entrepreneurs.
