Shakib and Le Méridien Dhaka New pair in the market

Shakib Al Hasan, the ace all-rounder cricketer is the new brand ambassador of Best Holdings Ltd (The owning company of Le Méridien Dhaka). In a press conference today held at Le Méridien Dhaka, Shakib Al Hasan and high officials of the 5-star luxury hotel have announced that Shakib will be the face of Best Holdings Ltd. (BHL) for the next 2 years.

On this occasion, the celebrated cricketer said, ‘I am delighted to be associated with this leading hotel and I personally believe that BHL is making a big contribution to the luxury hospitality sector in Bangladesh. I am extremely happy to be representing BHL at this exciting time for the company.’

Shakib Al Hasan answered some questions from journalists and shared his enthusiasm as this will be his first collaboration with the hospitality industry. Both Shakib and BHL have expressed their delight at this partnership and said they would be looking forward in their respective fields as they have always done.

Hasan Ahmad Sajib, President, Best Holdings Ltd. has stated, “Now is the right time to be in the hospitality industry and we have the limitless scope of delivering better services to our guests.  Just like Shakib Al Hasan, we want to excel in every sphere of the hospitality industry. We believe, Shakib is the best person to portray our excellence and we are extremely happy and proud to have him on board. BHL will be opening another 02 Marriott branded hotels over the next few years and we hope that Shakib will also be with us, as brand ambassador.”

Among others in attendance at today’s signing ceremony where, Amin Ahmad, Chairman, Best Holdings Ltd., Constantinos S. Gavriel, General Manager, Saeed Ahmed, Hotel Manager and Anwar Hossain, Director of Sales & Marketing of Le Méridien Dhaka were present at the press conference.
