Over the years, Shakib has been an influential role model for Bangladeshis, both on and off the field. In him, we’ve found a partner, who reflects and shares our ideals of bringing about positive change, empowering communities and improving the lives of all Bangladeshis. I’m confident our partnership will be a big step forward to further invest and innovate in a very important market for us.’’

Commenting on his association with Uber, Bangladesh Cricket Team’s captain in test format and ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan said, “As a cricketer, I travel a lot and I have personally enjoyed the seamless experience of booking an Uber. It’s great to see how Uber uses technology to revolutionize the way people move around cities and empowers millions around the world by creating economic opportunities.
