Rezistro Spreading its Services Countrywide

In line with the government’s vision to transform the country into ‘Digital Bangladesh’, the country’s first and only ICANN accredited registrar Innovadeus Pvt. Ltd. (Rezistro) started its journey to spread its domain registration, and other digital services countrywide. The country’s one of the first and largest rural assisted e-commerce platforms backed by a2i “ekShop” is going to join the journey with Rezistro.

At a commencement ceremony arranged on last February 09, 2020, at capital’s BDBL Bhaban in Karwan Bazar, Innovadeus Pvt. Ltd. (Rezistro) and Access to Information (a2i) backed country’s one of the first and largest rural assisted e-commerce platforms “ekShop” commenced their journey together to spread the domain, and other digital services to the corners of the country.

At the ceremony Head of Rural eCommerce (a2i) Mr. Rezwanul Haque Jami, ekShop’s Head of Technology Mr. Sohel Rana, Access to Information (a2i)’s Young Professional Shaela Quader, Innovadeus Pvt. Ltd.’s Managing Director Mohammad Mehedi Hasan, Innovadeus Pvt. Ltd.’s Operations Manager Sheikh Arafat Uddin Rimon and other officials from both organizations were present.

Head of Rural eCommerce of ekShop Mr. Rezwanul Haque Jami told us, “This is going to be a new chapter in Bangladesh’s IT industry. Together with Rezistro, we are going to spread the ease and convenience of purchasing domains, and other digital services to the rural areas. And we are very much confident and hopeful that this collaboration will make an impact to transform Bangladesh into Digital Bangladesh.”

Mohammad Mehedi Hasan, Managing Director of Innovadeus Pvt. Ltd. also harmonizes with Mr. Jami and said, “We are proud to be attached with the a2i backed ekShop, and we believe together we can bring changes in the rural areas of the country by using and spreading the benefits of technology.”

Mr. Sohel Rana, Head of Technology of ekShop expresses his excitement, “We at ekShop have been working to spread the benefits of eCommerce and technology to the rural areas to develop their living standard and quality. And now with Rezistro beside us, we are going to make it larger. We are focusing not only on selling the domains, and other digital services to them but also on making these technologies make an impact to change the way of their living and earning.”

Rezistro’s domain, and other digital services will be available in all of the 6000 Digital Centers (UDC, PDC, CDCs),Post e-Center, Micro Digital Centers (MDCs) across the country.
