realme survey reveals most used devices in general holidays

In recent times, Bangladesh Government has announced general holidays and instructed people to stay at home to maintain social distancing. To get an overview on which electronic devices people are using the most during this prolonged holidays, world’s fastest growing smartphone brand realme has recently conducted a survey.

The survey was conducted on Facebook among the realme smartphone user community. The primary objective of this recent survey was to identify which electronic device is more favorable to most of the people during this dire time. There was only question of this online survey was – “Which electronic device do you mostly use to keep yourself busy during your stay at home?” There were four options to choose from – smartphone, computer, television and tablet. A staggering 92% of the participants voted for smartphones, while 6% voted for computer/laptop and only 2% of the participants voted for selected television and tablet.

According to the survey, one of the participants has commented, “Nowadays we can use social media, watch our favorite TV series, play high graphical games, take photos, videos and instantly share them after editing with our smartphones. Moreover, we can also receive all the latest updates via different news apps.”

This survey, one of many to be conducted by realme in the future, was undertaken for a better understanding regarding the customers and their necessities from tech devices. Being a youth centric brand, the survey also sheds light on the potential target areas for realme. The recent successful flash sales on different online platforms also indicates towards the potential market.

The participants of the survey were mostly young adults aged between 18-35. People from different parts of Bangladesh, such as Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, Barisal have participated in this survey where around 80% of them were from Dhaka.
