Bangladeshi automotive (dealer/distributor) Rangs Limitedhas introduced hybrid sport utility vehicle (SUV) which is first of four-wheel drive (4WD) plug-in hybridvehiclein the word.
The CEO of Rangs Limited, Shoeb Ahmed announced the market launch of Outlander PHEV(Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle)from the fleet of Mitsubishi at a press conference in the capital on Monday.
Among others, Head of Private Sales Shadiqul Mostuk, Head of Marketing Farhan Hadi and Assistant Manager from Supply Chain Farid Al Shohan were present at the function at Mitsubishi outlet at capital’s Tejgaon.
Officials informed the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has maintained the best-selling tag in European market for last four years introducing innovations on the move.
The CEO also mentioned that,Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV comes with a newly designed 2.0-liter engine with twin motors, which ensure high-performance by providing ample power whenever necessary. The vehicle can reach up to 201 hp in terms of raw power in hybrid mode.Four Wheel Drive SUV power comes with the hybrid efficiency – making it the perfect combination.
The officialstated the 12 kWh battery is alone capable torun the vehicle up to 54 kilometer on electric Mode, with no fuel consumption or CO2 emission. The battery can be charged at home/garage and charging appliances come with the vehicle. It can be fast-charged to 80 percent in just 25 minutes.
For day-to-day driving in Hybrid mode, the engine generates electricity when running and the motors deliver that energy to make the drive more fuel-efficient.
The model is a spacious, practical family vehicle with a boot capacity to boast of and generous room in the back for rear seat passengers. The standard edition comes with premium leather seats, Rockford Fosgate sound system, seven airbags, Keyless operating and Bluetooth functionality and electric tailgates as standard.
The MitsubishiOutlander PHEV has gained several international recognitions including – 2019 Best Plug-in Vehicle, Green SUV of the Year and 2013-2014 Japan Car of the Year since last six years of journey.
