Miles concludes 28 international concerts

Popular Bangladeshi band Miles has completed its international concert tour with Australia Concert marking their 40th anniversary.
During this international concert tour, the longest non-stop tour for Bangladeshi band, they performed 28 concerts. Of these, 18 concerts in United States of America (USA), 7 concerts in Canada and 3 concerts in Australia.
Earlier, on 17th June this year, the band announced about international concert tour at a press conference. Miles started international concert tour by performing USA, followed by Canada and Australia.
Miles has been actively performing for last 40 years. Besides, they have released 11 albums. Alongside, Miles also released 4 Best of Albums, two from India and two from the USA. Miles made its first international show in the USA as a Bangladeshi band by performing at a solo event in 1996.
Miles began its journey in August, 1979. But, the year of 1992 was very remarkable for the band as they started performing stage show before the public audiences. Earlier, they were performing only at Intercontinental Hotel.
First album of Bangla songs `Protishruti’ released in 1991. They have released two English songs albums `Miles’ and `A Step Further’ in 1982 and 1986. Some popular songs of Miles includes ‘Chand Tara Surrya’, `Prothom Premer Moto’, `Gunjan Suni’, `Se Kon Darodia’, Firiye Dao’, `Dhiki Dhiki’, `Pahari Meye’, `Neela’, `Ki Jadho’, `Kotokal Khujbo Tomay,’ `Rhidoyhina’, `Shawpnobonggo’, `Jala Jala’, `Sesh Thikana’, `Priyashi Mon’, `Bolbo Na Tumake’, Jatiya Songiter Dritiyo Line’, `Priyatamma Megh’ etc.
