Jatiya Oikya Front, a new political alliance, has emerged with 7 demands and 11 goals.
The new political platform, consisted of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Jukta Front and Jatiya Oikya Prokriya, was announced by Mahmudur Rahman Manna, convener of Nagorik Oikya, at Jatiya Press Club on Saturday evening.
However, former president Dr Badruddoza Chwodhury led political party Bikalpa Dhara was not included in the alliance.
The demands of Jatiya Oikya Front include resignation of the government, dissolving the parliament before holding general election, forming a neutral polls-time government through discussion with all political parties and releasing all political leaders including BNP chief Khaleda Zia.
