The Post and Telecommunication Division has organized Innovation Showcasing 2019 today at the Postal Division Office.
The event was inaugurated by Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Principal Coordinator (SDG Affairs), Prime Minister's Office while Ashoke Kumar Biswas, Secretary In-Charge, Post and Telecommunication Division adorned the event as the Chief Guest.
Minister of Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Mustafa Jabbar concluded the event through the closing ceremony. Among others present were Sudhangshu Shekhar Bhadra, Director General, Bangladesh Post Office along with other officials of the Postal Division.
The notable innovations showcased in this event were Digital Financial Service “Nagad” by Bangladesh Postal Division, IMEI Database & NOC Automation and Central Biometric Verification Monitoring Platform by BTRC, BTCL Dialer by BTCL and Online Admission System and Verification of Result and IVR messaging for disaster notification by Teletalk.
The event was held in association with a2i, The Cabinet Division, ICT Division, USAID and UNDP.
