Mohammad Zakir, an Imam at a mosque in Chandpur, has got Tk 10lakh after registering his purchased Walton refrigerator under the ongoing nationwide Digital Campaign Season-4 of the local brand.
Country’s electronics giant Walton has announced a fresh offer for the customers of its wide ranges of refrigerators and freezers centering the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, one of the largest religious festivals of Muslim.
Under this offer, everyday customers of any models of Walton refrigerators and freezers may get Tk 1 million (10 lakh) by registering their newly purchased fridges from Walton plaza or distributor outlet across the country.
Moreover, customers may get crores of cash vouchers or thousands of electronics and electrical appliances under the effective from July 1, 2019 till the Eid-ul-Azha.
Zakir purchased a 15 and half cft refrigerator from Walton distributor Sonny Electronics at Uttar Matlab upazila of the district at Tk 26,100 on July 2, 2019 and took part in the digital registration process through sending SMS from his mobile with details of his name and purchased refrigerator.
After a while, Zakir received a SMS from Walton with the information of getting Tk 10 lakh.
Upazila Chairman MA Abdul Kuddus, Walton Deputy Executive Director Mohammad Firoj Alam, Noakhali Zone Area Manager Mohammad Zahid Hasan, Field Manager Mohammad Rayhan and Sonny Electronics distributor Md Yasin handed over the check of Tk10 lakh to Zakir Hossain at a program held at Islamia Market in the area on July 6.
‘It’s unimaginable that I get Tk10 lakh on buying Walton fridge. When I got the confirmation massage, I could not believe it. I have thought that they may be doing fun with me. I do not understand what God has written in my destiny. I’m thankful to Walton,’ said Zakir, an Imam at a mosque at Panch Ani village.
He also said, ‘I have been thinking of buying the fridge for a long time. Neighbors also advised me to buy Walton refrigerator. Before buying, I have personally visited some of the brand’s showrooms here. I saw, the price of Walton refrigerators is comparatively low, it also looks nice. So, I bought Walton refrigerator.’
MA Abdul Kuddus said, ‘It proves Walton properly keeps its promises given to customers. We are proud of Walton.’
Authorities said, in a bid to accelerate the initiative of building customers’ database for delivering online based swift and best after sales service, Walton is conducting ‘Digital Campaign’ across the country.
