GENEX INFOSYS RECEIVES BASIS NATIONAL ICT AWARDS 2019 FOR 333

Genex Infosys, the leading IT company in the country has been awarded the esteemed National ICT Awards 2019 by BASIS under the category of Inclusion and Community Services- Sustainability & Environment for implementing and managing of National Information, Service & GRS Center (333), – an initiative of Access to Information (a2i) and supported by Robi Axiata Limited.

The award ceremony has been organized recently by Bangladesh Association of Software and Association (BASIS) in Radisson Blu Hotel, Dhaka Water Garden.

Mr. Adnan Imam and Mr. Prince Mojumder, co-founders of Genex said, “We are honored to have such recognition for our work in 333, the impact it has brought to the lives of the citizens of this country has motivated us to deliver to the best of our capabilities. But above all, we thank a2i & ICT Ministry for believing in us to carry out such a noble project.”

Information Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud, MP, State Minister for the Ministry of Public Administration Mr. Farhad Hossain, MP, Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, were present in the award giving ceremony.

 

Mr. Sajeeb Wazed Joy, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Advisor to the Prime Minister, inaugurated this helpline last year. Through this helpline mass people of the country are being benefited by providing information to government offices about social problems. More than 35 thousand government websites and robust complaint management system are engaged to facilitate the helpline service.
