Samsung Bangladesh successfully conducted the first session of Junior Software Academy at SRBD (Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh). The first session started on March 8, 2019 and ended on April 26, 2019.
Students received IT training on various technological topics such as Coding, Programming, including basic education for computer hardware & internet, and many more. They also learned about the history of Samsung, received basic Samsung product knowledge and learnt about Android open source system.
Students also learned to implement their knowledge by using basic coding tools to develop software. They received certificates upon the completion of the course.
Thirty high school students from grade 6 – 10 were participated in the first session of Junior Software Academy. Classes were held every Friday, starting from March 8 and ending on April 26, 2019. Students had submitted applications from February 15 – February 26, 2019 for participation.
The selected students were announced on February 28, 2019. Notably SRBD houses approx. 400 Samsung R&D engineers.
