Holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of the Muslims, is being celebrated across the country on Tuesday as the Shawal moon was sighted in the sky of Bangladesh on Monday evening. President Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Raushan Ershad have greeted the countrymen and Muslims across the world on the occasion of Eid-Al-Fitr. In separate messages, they wished peace, progress and prosperity for all. The main Eid congregation in the capital held at the National Eidgah at 8.30am.
