The delivery ceremony of the DM-i Super Plug-in Hybrid SUV was at BYD Flagship Showroom and BYD Service Center, Tejgaon, Dhaka.
Present at the event were Hafizur Rahman Khan, Chairman of CG Runner BD Limited, and Zhang Jie, Vice President of Sales for the South Asia Pacific Region of BYD. They congratulated the new customers and reiterated BYD’s commitment to the electric vehicle sector in Bangladesh.
Unveiled in February 2025, BYD SEALION 6 has gained an overwhelming response from consumers for its innovative technology, refined design, and superior performance. The ceremony was attended by business partners, enthusiastic customers, and BYD officials, who got the opportunity to witness the first handovers of the modern and powerful SEALION 6.
By featuring a bold front grille, sharp lines, and LEDs for headlights and taillights, the BYD SEALION 6 exhibits aesthetic appeal. SEALION 6 is built to redefine the hybrid SUV experience by combining cutting-edge DM-i plug-in hybrid technology with revolutionary Blade Battery to provide enhanced safety and efficiency. On a full tank of fuel and a fully charged battery, the SEALION 6 can cover over 1100 Km of distance easily. The vehicle also boasts a striking ocean-aesthetics design paired with a dynamic Xiaoyun 1.5L high-efficiency engine. The hybrid SUV can deliver a maximum power of 160 kW and torque of 300 Nm, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in only 8.5 seconds.

BYD SEALION 6 is available in different colors, including Harbour Grey, Arctic White, Delan Black, and Stone Grey. It features a panoramic sunroof, Infinity 10-speaker premium audio, and ventilated front seats. The hybrid SUV offers driving flexibility varying from ECO, Normal, and Sport modes with regenerative braking for added efficiency. It has a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, voice assistant, dual-zone AC with PM2.5 filtration, ADAS, 360-degree HD camera, six airbags, and a high NEDC rating. The vehicle can seamlessly connect with Apple CarPlay (wired), Android Auto (wireless), multiple USB ports, and wireless phone chargers.
