bKash signs deal with Himalaya to provide disbursement solutions to retailers

bKash Limited, the largest mobile financial service provider in the country has signed an agreement with The Himalaya Drug Company Ltd. to disburse various payments of trade incentives to their retailers.

Under this agreement, The Himalaya Drug Company Ltd. will leverage the disbursement solutions of bKash to make various payments including incentives to its retailers and trade partners. Once the fund is transferred into the recipients’ bKash accounts, it can be accessed instantly. They can utilize the account balance to make person to person fund transfer, top-up mobile airtime, pay bills, make payments in shopping and cash out via more than 2 lac bKash agents across the country. They can also store the money in their bKash accounts and earn interest on savings.

Mizanur Rashid, Chief Commercial Officer of bKash and Siddhartha Roy, Operation Manager of Himalaya signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at bKash head office. Masrur Chowdhury, Head of Govt. Projects & Business Sales, Commercial  of bKash, Abdur Rahim Aurko, National sales Manager of Himalaya, A.T.M Mahbub Alam, Head of Corporate Sales of bKash with other senior officials of both organizations were also present at the event.
