AjkerNari is celebrated by TikTok on International Women’s Day in Bangladesh.

TikTok is known for its diverse and inclusive community, and the #AjkerNari campaign is a testament to the platform’s commitment to empowering women around the world. As Bangladesh continues to make strides towards gender equality, TikTok is playing its part in amplifying and empowering the voices of the women in the country.

Sabnam Faria spoke about the impact of the #AjkerNari campaign. “The campaign #AjkerNari is a very important step towards making sure that women from all walks of life are heard, their contributions in different fields are recognized and  they are treated as equals.”

#AjkerNari is a great initiative for sending out the message that women can do wonders if they get the right opportunity,” shared Krishna Rani Sarkar, Bangladesh national women’s football team player.

Tanha Islam echoed these sentiments. “#AjkerNari is a movement towards a more inclusive and equitable society, where women can fully participate and thrive in all aspects of life.”

Alongside women content creators and celebrities, popular male content creators also participated in the campaign to support and cheer for women.

Popular content creator Razik shared, “#AjkerNari as a campaign is an opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the achievements and contributions of women in modern society. It could be a way to recognize the progress that has been made towards gender equality and to highlight the ongoing struggles and challenges that women still face today.”

“#AjkerNari is a great opportunity for the women on TikTok to uplift and support each other and promote gender equality,” said Hamza Khan Shayan, another popular content creator on TikTok.

The #AjkerNari campaign is an important step towards TikTok’s commitment to foster an welcoming space for all communities and the platform is proud to play a role in promoting women’s empowerment. As the campaign continues to gain momentum, it is clear that the voices of Bangladeshi women will be heard loud and clear on TikTok
