Aamra technologies make Agreement with Microsoft

aamra Technologies Limited, a leader in the data connectivity and services market, today launched both public and private cloud offerings built on Microsoft Azure Pack. This unique solution set, enables organizations to create, host and manage business-critical applications in a compliant, secure and highly available cloud environment.

The ‘aamra’ public and private cloud offerings support the Microsoft Cloud Platform, including Windows Server 2012 R2 with Hyper-V, System Center 2012 R2 and Windows Azure Pack. ‘aamra’ fully enables data and application migration to its cloud platforms through its top-level customer support and enterprise-class technologies. As the first and prime hosted solution provider of Microsoft, ‘aamra’ will provide hosted business communication, collaboration and infrastructure solutions.

Aamra is a Microsoft certified partner and Microsoft Hosted Service Provider in Bangladesh Since 2013.

About the Services

E-mail as a Service (EAAS) – Microsoft Exchange:

E-mail as a Service is a cloud based e-mail solution where Microsoft Exchange e-mail boxes are offered to clients. It is more than just an e-mail system. It is a complete solution that comes with a fully managed calendar, contact and task organization and all other Microsoft Exchange features in one easy access place. It can be seamlessly accessed from any web browser and has high scalability & redundancy. Its other features include wireless synchronization, data storage support and active directory hence, supporting Windows authentication and administration features that can be easily accessed through the Microsoft console. Using EAAS, there is no longer a need for costly investment in infrastructure and, there is a decrease in the time and human resources required for day to day management of in house Exchange.

Sharepoint as a Service:

Sharepoint as a Service is a Cloud based document management system for businesses of all sizes that enables users to subscribe to a Microsoft Sharepoint plan instead of installing and deploying Sharepoint Server on premises. It is based on Microsoft SharePoint and is the simplest and the most cost-effective way to organize, share and collaborate information for organizational operations effectively.

Voice as a Service (VAAS) – Microsoft Lync:

Voice as a Service is a centralized communication solution that utilizes Microsoft Lync and is hosted on cloud. Built according to Microsoft’s best practices it increases organizational productivity through improved communications. It is designed to go beyond instant messaging and to ensure effective and consolidated communications through delivery of peer-to-peer and PSTN voice calls, web, audio and video conferencing. It is a communications infrastructure that integrates with other Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Exchange to offer a complete and distinctive solution and is device flexible. Due its cloud based nature, there is no need for extensive investment by clients in the designed purchase, deployment and management of an on site service.

Desktop as a Service:

Desktop as a Service provides secure hosted PC style Windows desktop for applications and mobility services far beyond the traditional Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. It enables users to use a remote desktop. In other words, this approach allows Information technology to outsource virtual desktops from a cloud service provider; enabling simpler desktop management hence, resulting in lesser hardware, decreased complexity and increased flexibility.

The above services are being offered for the first time by any company in Bangladesh and technology focused companies can now take advantage of the lower cost of ownership, pay as you go service, usage of authentication, integrated and customized software and the latest versions of Microsoft’s offered hosted solutions through aamra.
