A Xiaomi user had claimed that his smartphone explode. In a post, he said that there no heating or any other issues with the smartphone bought recently.
In the incident xiaomi said through statement, At Xiaomi, our customers’ safety is of utmost importance and therefore all our devices go through stringent quality testing ensuring high industry standards. We have established contact with the customer and have requested him to handover the device to us for inspection. To resolve an issue of this manner, it is extremely significant that proper investigation takes place to determine the cause of the incident.
However, the customer has denied to handover the device despite the Xiaomi team repeatedly offering multiple solutions. We are trying to obtain the device at the earliest, and we would share more information as soon as we have an update. We will be unable to comment on this situation and take necessary action on this until we have the device in our custody. Xiaomi always strives to ensure that our consumers are truly satisfied with our products and services and we will continue to work hard towards it.
