Local handset maker Walton has launched its new affordable smartphone in country’s tech market. Priced at only 2,930 BDT, the device ‘Primo D9’ comes with two attractive colors of red and black.
Asifur Rahman Khan, Chief of Walton Cellular Phone sales department, said the Primo D9 is the low-cost smartphone which has been manufactured at our own plant in Gazipur considering the purchasing capacity of customers with small budget. It features a 4-inch WVGA display with 800X480 screen resolutions, 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, Mali-T820 GPU along with 1,400 mAh battery.
Runs on Android Oreo 8:1 (Go Edition) operating system, the new smartphone sports a BSI 2-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and another 0.3-megapixel front camera with various attractive features including face beauty, digital zoom, time lapse, AI detect, Scene mode, Audio picture, QR code scanner etc.
The device supports 3G network in dual-SIM slots. Its connectivity features include Wi-fi, WLAN Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, Micro USB, OTA, LED notification light etc. while full HD video playback and FM radio with recorder are among its multimedia features.
Customers will also enjoy instant replacement warranty for 30 days for the phone along with one-year regular service warranty.
