UITS Collaborates with the International Conference on Innovation and Technopreneurship (ICIT 2024) hosted by INTI International University Malaysia

The University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS) Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has successfully collaborated with the International Conference on Innovation and Technopreneurship (ICIT 2024), hosted by INTI International University Malaysia. The conference, held on September 26th and 27th, 2024, brought together leading researchers and experts from around the world to discuss cutting-edge advancements in innovation and entrepreneurship.

UITS served as a co-organizer and academic collaborator for ICIT 2024. UITS faculty members participated virtually from the UITS Conference Room. The conference featured a distinguished lineup of speakers on 26 September, including Prof. Ir. Dr. Malathy Batumalay (Conference Chair), Prof. Dr. Wong Ling Shing (Pro-Vice Chancellor, INTI International University), Associate Prof Datuk Dr. Sabri Mohamad Sharif (Universiti Teknikal Malaysia, Melaka, Malaysia), Prof. Dr. Sher Afzal Khan (Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Pakistan), and Dr. Arpita Roy (Sharda University, greater Noida, India). The conference featured a distinguished lineup of speakers on 27 September, including Prof. Dr. Deshinta Arrova Dewi, Deputy Conference Chair, Keynote Address by Prof. Dr. Francis Onditi – Riara University, Nairobi, Kenya, Prof. Dr. Eddy Winarso – Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani, Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Hani Abdallah AL-Rawashdeh – AL-Hussein bin Talal University, Jordan.

The International Conference is divided into five parallel sessions on both 26 and 27 September, each focusing on a specific theme aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These themes included integrating health and life sciences, engineering innovation and invention, next-gen horizons in computing, innovative business and management, and sustainable education.

ICIT 2024 International Conference provided a valuable platform for researchers to share their work, establish collaborations, and contribute to the advancement of innovation and entrepreneurship. UITS’s participation in the conference further solidified its commitment to fostering academic excellence and global partnerships.
