Nowadays the SSD has become one of the essential components for PCs, as it can provide faster loading speeds. But with the SSD being a new component, prices are higher than a conventional hard disk drive, but the flaw of the SSD is that it has less capacity. Tech Republic limited just introduced this new budget friendly SSD in Bangladesh market which was launched by Apacer, but can this AS340 Panther provide a speedy performance. The AS340 Panther comes with SATA III interface that can transfer data 6Gb/s.
As its design, the AS340 Panther has nothing fancy in it, just the usual SSD design and with a leopard-like texture on the top panel along with the Panther logo in gold. It has three holes for screws to be place when placed to be mounted inside the PC.
This SSD is available for two types of capacity-120GB and 240GB. The sustained read performance of 120GB is Up to 500MB/s and 240GB is Up to 505MB/s. In the same, the sustained write performance of 20GB is up to 375MB/s and 240GB is up to 410MB/s.
As aimed for entry-level consumers with a tight budget, the AS340 Panther is giving a very impressive performance for its price tag. Price: 120 GB -2700, 240 GB – 4000.
