Leathergoods and Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB), in collaboration with the Leather Sector Business Promotion Council (LSBPC), successfully conducted a training program on Chemical Management in the leather goods and footwear industries recently, at Intertek Bangladesh, Dhaka.
The training program saw the participation of 25 mid-level managers, including Chemical Handlers and Store Incharges, from various member factories. Designed to enhance participants’ understanding of chemical management practices, the program focused on effective chemical usage in the workplace, ensuring safety and compliance within the industry.
The Secretary General of LFMEAB attended the introductory session, where he shared valuable insights and emphasized the importance of proper chemical management in promoting a safe working environment.
