The launch of COOL Ceiling and Customized Ventilation Products by ABG JS Ventilation Ltd

Today, ABG JS Ventilation Ltd launched COOL Ceiling and Customized Ventilation Products. Her Excellency Ms. Winnie Estrup Petersen, Ambassador of Denmark to Bangladesh, welcomed the guests to the event that will open a new arena of technology and knowledge sharing between Bangladesh and Denmark and contributing to Sustainable Development Goals on Health and Well-Being. The event was hosted in the Edge Gallery in Dhaka.

ABG JS Ventilation Ltd is a joint venture between the Danish JS Ventilation and the Bangladeshi ABG Interlinks. Established in April 2018, they conducted their production trial run in November 2018. ABG JS Ventilation brings Danish technology in Bangladesh with a fully trained workforce. To see and experience the ventilation system, clients are invited to visit the Maghbazar showroom of the company, where a demo unit has been installed and operational under local conditions for almost one year.

Mr Søren Duval, Chairman and Mr S M GofranulHoque, Managing Director of ABG JS Ventilation Ltd, stated that they were pleased to offer high quality Danish products of custom made ducts, cool ceiling, and air handling units for their Bangladeshi customers at a more competitive price and shorter delivery time. Mr Duval discussed energy saving solutions for ventilation, an upcoming area for the discerning user.

Mr Md. Hasmotuzzaman, a leading local MEP Consultant, explained the need and highlighted the Bangladeshi guidelines for indoor air quality. The event included a panel discussion on indoor air quality and ventilation to create awareness of the need for and availability of locally produced solutions.

Her Excellency Ms. Winnie Estrup Petersen in her inaugural remarks said that ‘Bangladesh is a country of great abilities. The dedication of the people have taken it forward and I am hopeful of witnessing more in the coming days. That is why I am delighted to see a Danish company having faith and trust to transfer their technology and knowledge to Bangladesh.’

Denmark’s bilateral relations in Bangladesh include promoting trade and investment between Denmark and Bangladesh. The Embassy of Denmark’s commercial section, The Trade Council, assists Danish exporters and investors in their business activities in Bangladesh.
