Shabnur has been hospitalized

Shabnur, a popular actress of Dhaka cinema, has been hospitalized in a hospital in Sydney, Australia after diagnosing with Covid-19.

Shabnur’s younger sister Jhumur has confirmed the matter to the media on Wednesday.

Jhumur said Shabnur has been suffering from fever since last week. After conducting the Covid-19 sample test, her result came positive.

“She was isolated at home. But suddenly today she felt little illness. Later, she was taken to a hospital. Shabnur is currently under the care of doctors,” Jhumur added.

Shabnur, the most popular actress of Dhallywood, has acted in 14 films with Salman Shah. Their pair is one of the most successful pairs in Dhaka film. Most of their films are well received by the audience. After the death of Salman Shah, Shabnur has appeared on screen with actors – Riaz, Ferdous, Manna and Shakib Khan.

She married businessman Anik Mahmud Hridoy on 28 December 2012, however, they parted ways on January 26 in 2020 as they did not get along. They have a son named Aijan Nehan, Shabnur is currently living in Australia with her son.
