‘Samsung EDGE’ Campus Program Launched

Samsung Mobile Bangladesh has launched ‘Samsung EDGE’ (Empowering Dreams, Gaining Excellence) campus program on April 17, 2019. 6 universities are participating in this campus program: UIU, IUB, NSU, Rajshahi University, IBA, Dhaka University, and IBA, Jahangirnagar University. The grand finale will take place on 5th of May.

Samsung is creating a platform for the youth of Bangladesh to work on real life business problems to engage them in creative and analytical thinking. By participating in this case competition students will get the chance to interact with Samsung’s top leaders. The eventual winners will not only get BDT. 300,000 worth of gift but also the tremendous opportunity of working in one of the biggest tech company in the world, Samsung.

Regarding the competition, Mr. Seungwon Youn, Managing Director of Samsung Bangladesh said, “At Samsung, we nurture the brilliance of young minds, bringing out the spirit of innovation in them. ‘Samsung EDGE’ enables to us to do that. We are delighted with the level of enthusiasm across all the universities.”

Samsung is celebrating this event by offering students of participating universities a massive 29% discount on all Samsung products. The students have also been able to get first-hand experience of the new range of Galaxy A Series devices at their campuses at these events.
