Salman Muqtadir Calls for Boycott of Indian Products Amidst Flood Crisis

Renowned YouTuber and actor Salman Muqtadir has urged Bangladeshis to boycott Indian products in response to the devastating floods caused by the neighboring country’s dam releases.

In a live Facebook video, Muqtadir criticized India for its “bullying” behavior towards Bangladesh, highlighting the dominance of Indian products and businesses in the Bangladeshi market. He emphasized that the country’s economy is heavily reliant on India, with a significant portion of remittances and imports coming from the neighboring nation.

Muqtadir argued that India’s actions, such as the sudden release of dam waters without warning, have led to the loss of lives and widespread destruction in Bangladesh. He accused the Indian government of disregarding the well-being of Bangladeshi citizens and called for a unified stance against India’s actions.

As a solution, Muqtadir proposed a month-long boycott of Indian products. He called on Bangladeshis to refrain from purchasing Indian goods, services, and media content. Additionally, he urged cable operators to stop broadcasting Indian channels and advertisements.

Muqtadir’s video has quickly gone viral, sparking widespread discussions and support for his call to boycott Indian products. Netizens have praised his stance and shared the video on social media to raise awareness and encourage others to participate in the boycott.

The boycott movement, if successful, could have a significant impact on the Bangladeshi economy and send a strong message to India about the consequences of its actions. It remains to be seen whether the public will rally behind Muqtadir’s call and whether the boycott will have a lasting effect.
