Through a collaboration, Roar Bangla and Youth School for Social Entrepreneurs (YSSE) together has initiated a new project titled, “Roar Bangla Talks” on 29th April, 2019. The first episode of this program was organized at EMK Center where the Mental health related issues were discussed. Lead’s founder and CEO and Chairman of Life Spring, Mr. Yahya Amin was the prime speaker of this program.
Program was inaugurated with the welcome speech of YSSE’s Founder & President, Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Yousuf Hossain. The main part of the discussion started from 3:00 pm. The whole session covered the discussion on the mostly found mental health related problems in our country. The discussion also comprised of contemporary mental health problems, how to deal with these problems and how society should respond to mental health issues. The issue of mental health of Bangladeshi women also got priority in this discussion.
“Through this discussion, we hope to have a positive impact on the audience’s enlightenment so that they can understand the positive aspects of life and have the mental strength to move away from any self-destructive step. Our objective of this episode is to help the audience understand the true meaning of life”- said one of the hosts, Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Yousuf Hossain, Founder and President, YSSE. A short briefing was provided to young minds by Mr. Abdullah Al Mahmud, CEO & Editor in Chief of Roar Bangla. The show comes to an end with the speech of Ms. Sarmin Akter Shakila, Entrepreneurs Coordinator of EMK Center. Knowledge Partner of this program was Life Spring.
