Xiaomi, global technology leader, debuted its first AndroidTM Go smartphone, Redmi Go, in Bangladesh. Packed with useful software and efficient hardware, Redmi Go will be available at Tk 6,999.

The AndroidTM Go program was launched by Google in 2017, with affordable smartphones running on a highly efficient version of Android. Out of the box, Redmi Go runs the Android™ 8.1 Oreo™ (Go edition) operating system, featuring reimagined Google apps that have been optimized to reduce storage and data use.

“Xiaomi has received such a warm welcome in Bangladesh since its entry last year, and we are really grateful to all Mi fans for their support.” said Sanket Agarwal, Head – Overseas Expansion, Indian sub-continent, Xiaomi India. “With Redmi Go making its debut here, we hope that even more users here will be able to enjoy an amazing smartphone experience at an amazing price. This is part of our commitment to make innovation available to everyone.”

Redmi Go features a 5.0-inch 720p HD display, the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 425 SoC, and a 3000mAh battery. On the back it sports a 8MP main camera supported by an LED flashlight. On the front, Redmi Go has a 5MP camera for selfies. It comes with two SIM card slots and has a dedicated microSD slot that supports up to 128GB microSD cards. In terms of network connectivity, Redmi Go supports 2G, 3G and 4G along with being VoLTE ready

Redmi Go will come in Black and Blue color variants, and will be available in 8GB storage capacity at Tk 6,999. During the Flash Sale on Daraz, the Redmi Go (1+8GB) will be available at a special price tag of TK 5,999. First Flash Sale will commence on March 3, 2019 at 11 AM.
