Raihan Rafi’s ‘Mayaa’ to premiere on Binge

Popular director Raihan Rafi’s latest thriller web film, Mayaa, on the OTT platform Binge is all set to be released. Written and directed by Rafi, audiences can enjoy this Lily presented Binge Original starting from September 30, 2024.

Recently, Binge released the official teaser of Mayaa on social media, stirring excitement among fans. The film delves into the struggles faced by women, particularly focusing on the societal pressures they endure in the absence of their husbands.

The teaser opens with the protagonist, Mayaa, entering a police station and stating, “Sir, my husband is missing…” This is followed by a series of suspenseful and intense scenes, setting the tone for a gripping thriller. Since the teaser’s release, the anticipation for the film has been high.

Sarika stars in the title role, while Mayaa also marks actor Mamnun Emon’s debut on an OTT platform. This is the first time Sarika and Emon have worked together under Raihan Rafi’s direction.
