Nitol Insurance launches “Nirapod” the first ever online based comprehensive private car insurance policy

Bangladesh: Country’s one of the leading Insurance company “Nitol Insurance Company Ltd”
today launched ‘Nirapod”, the first ever online based comprehensive private car insurance policy of the country. Mr.
A.K.M. Monirul Hoque, Chairman of Nitol Insurance & Vice President of Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA)
presided over the ceremony. Mr. Abdul Matlub Ahmad, Chairman of Nitol – Niloy Group & Ex-President of FBCCI and
Mr. Sheikh Kabir Hossain, President of Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA) was present as special guest while Mr.
Shafiqur Rahman Patwari, Chairman of Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) was present as the
Chief Guest in the launching program held at Dhaka Club.
“Nirapod” also becomes country’s most comprehensive private car insurance policy as it will cover Vehicle own
damage, Liability for third party injury/death & property damage, Personal accident, Vehicle tracker. It will also provide
coverage against natural disasters and a host of other features. And the best part is consumers/clients will be able avail
EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) to pay their premium.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. A.K.M. Monirul Hoque, Chairman of Nitol Insurance said, “We are extremely happy to
launch this policy for our customers today. We believe this will revolutionize the private car insurance policy segment
of the country”.
Mr. Sheikh Kabir Hossain, President of Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA) in his speech as the special guest said,
“Nitol insurance is becoming a pioneer in developing innovative policies. Policies such as “Nirapod” is going to help
raise the standard of the overall insurance industry”.
Mr. Abdul Matlub Ahmad, Chairman of Nitol – Niloy Group said in his speech, “Nitol Insurance Company ltd. has been

continuation of innovation process of the company”.
Mr. Shafiqur Rahman Patwari, Chairman of Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) and the Chief
Guest of the program stated, “This is a big step forward towards the digital Bangladesh movement. I am delighted to be
the chief guest of this program and been given the honor to inaugurate such an exciting and innovative policy for the
people of the country”.
