Masud Rana is the most popular detective character in the country. The production company Jazz Multimedia is making the new movie of this series. Its name is ‘Cheeta’. It is based on the story of ‘Operation Cheeta’. And in this movie, Ananta Jalil is going to play the role of Masud Rana by surprising everyone.
The announcement was made through a premiere on Wednesday (January 31) evening. Appearing there, Ananta Jalil said, ‘It was my dream to act in the Masud Rana series. Ever since I acted in the country’s movies, many people called me the James Bond of Bengal. Even the journalists did not know that I am going to act in the film ‘Cheeta’. However, since the announcement of Jazz, many people have commented on Facebook, that the James Bond of Bengal is Ananta Jalil. I feel blessed for that.’
The film ‘Cheeta’ will be directed by Kolkata-based filmmaker Rajib Biswas. Earlier, Ananta worked in the film ‘Operation Jackpot’ directed by him. Regarding the producer, Jalil said, I am a lucky person that I can work again with Rajib Bhai, the producer of the superhit film of Kolkata.
