Mashrafe becomes brand ambassador of Walton

Bangladesh National Team captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has been appointed as the brand ambassador of Walton. The popular cricket all-rounder will be involved in various promotional activities of the country’s leading electronics, electrical, IOT and home appliances manufacturing company for next two years.

An agreement was signed between the Bangladesh skipper and Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd. in this connection. Executive Director of Walton and its Refrigerator Department CEO Golam Murshed signed on the agreement on behalf of his organization on Tuesday (May 21, 2019) at Mirpur in the capital.

Walton Group Executive Directors Uday Hakim and Amin Khan, Deputy Executive Director Firoj Alam, Additional Director Milton Ahmed and Managing Director of Power Play Communication Niamur Rahman Palash were present on the occasion.

About the endorsement deal, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said: Walton is the leading electronics brand in Bangladesh. They have been working for a long time in the development of cricket here. I’m glad to be a part of Walton. As a brand ambassador, I will try my level best to represent Walton in home and abroad. Best wishes for Walton. I hope everyone will be with the Bangladeshi brand. I ask for supports and prayers from countrymen for Bangladesh team’s success in World Cup.

Mentionable, Walton is the leading Bangladeshi brand of electronics, electrical, IOT, home and kitchen appliances. The international standard Walton products including refrigerators and freezers, televisions, air conditioners, compressors, laptops, computers, mobile phones, home and kitchen and electrical appliances, generators and elevators, industrial solutions, die and mold etc. are being manufactured there using world’s most advanced technology and machineries in Chandra of Gazipur.

The ‘Made in Bangladesh’ labeled Walton products are being exporting to different countries including Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa regions. The Walton products have been well received in those countries brightening the image of Bangladesh and bringing foreign currencies as well.

Walton’s aim is to size the global market by providing high standard products manufactured in Bangladesh at competitive prices. They are working with the target of being among the world’s top 5 brands by 2030.
