Marcel to release Bangla Voice Control Smart TV

The local electronics manufacturer Marcel are going to release Bangla Voice Control Smart TV in the local market this month centering the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr and ICC Cricket World Cup-2019.

The new model’s smart television of Marcel is featured with three language selection options- Bangla, English and Hindi. Thus, viewers will be able to search any Bangla, English or hindi content in You Tube or internet browsers through voice command without typing the content.

Marcel officials disclosed these at the ‘Inaugural Ceremony of Bangla Voice Control TV’ at the company’s corporate office in the capital on Thursday (May 16, 2019). The company’s Vice-Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi, Managing Director SM Ashraful Alam, Directors SM Mahbubul Alam and Raisa Sigma Hima unveiled this new model smart television.

The function was attended, among others, by the company’s Executive Directors Eva Rezwana, Amdadul Haque Sarker, Mohammad Rayhan, SM Zahid Hasan, Humayun Kabir and Dr. Md. Shakhawat Hossen, Marcel TV’s Chief Executive Officer Mosatafa Nahid Hossain and Head of TV RnD Dept. Engineer Enamul Hasan,

During the function, 7 sub-dealers and one area managers were awarded with certificates and foreign tour for their outstanding contribution to the increase of the local brand’s television this year and also to the branding of Digital Campaign Season 4.

Speaking at the event, Marcel TV Rnd Department’s Head Enamul Hasan said, three sorts of languages- Bangla, English and Hindi, are added to the language selection options. Thus, users could search any content of these respective languages in You Tube or browsers without typing the desired content.

To enjoy this latest feature, users will have to activate the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Voice Receiver of the television by saying ‘Hello Marcel.’ After that, the users will be able to search any Bangla, English or Hindi content through voice command.

Marcel’s Head of Sales Dr. Md. Shakhawat Hossen said, the engineers of the television RnD department are working relentlessly on introducing more user-friendly smart televisions by adding innovative features.

In this context, he said, Bangla language selection option, along with English and Hindi, is added to Marcel smart television.

He hoped that this new model’s smart television will be released within the current month.

Marcel officials informed that Marcel televisions are manufactured with highest standard HADS (High Advance Super Dimension Switch) and IPS (In Plan Switching) panels that are produced in ISO class seven dust free clean room, to ensure the quality and durability of the panels.

As a result, viewers will get high viewing angle and high contrast pictures. Moreover, the Marcel TVs are huge power efficient.

Marcel is now offering 6-month replacement warranty for television panel, and two years warranty for panel and spare parts as well as free after sales of services for five years.
