Mahiya Mahi protests for attacking Rokeya Prachy at Dhanmondi 32. Renowned actress Mahiya Mahi has protested the attack on the National Film Award-winning actress Rokeya Prachy at Dhanmondi No. 32. Mahi took to social media after the attack on Prachy.

“Attack on National Film Award-winning actress Rokeya Prachy at Dhanmondi 32. Strongly condemn and protest,” Mahiya Mahi wrote on her Facebook.

On Wednesday (August 14), Rokeya Prachy took a stand at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s house at Dhanmondi 32 in the capital Dhaka. The house was gutted on August 5. Prior to this, Prachy took to social media to announce a peaceful stand in a part of that gutted house.

“I am at Dhanmondi 32. Let all murders and all anarchy be judged. Let there be justice for the murder of Bengali history. I am here. We also want justice. We will remember the history of freedom and Bangabandhu in peaceful protest. I am at gutted 32. Joy Bangla. Joy Bangabandhu,” she wrote.
