Kona and Gohin have tied the knot. Popular singer Dilshad Nahar Kona and Golam Md Iftekhar, known by friends as Gohin, married in a quiet wedding ceremony around three months ago, with only close family in attendance. She kept the news under covers until this correspondent called her over Eid and and asked her if the news was true.
“We married on 21 April in a very quiet ceremony,” said Kona over the phone, promising “We’ll hold a big celebration in due time.”
Kona’s husband Gohin is a businessman and lives in Dhaka. They have been in a relationship for seven years and rumours of their marriage often popped up in the media.
