The competition, titled ‘Kaspersky Security Challenge 2019’, has begun for the second time in the country to find skilled cyber security personnel. An activation program of the competition was held at Dhaka University’s Business Faculty Conference. DUCSU was an associate in the Dhaka University activation phase. After the inauguration, a workshop on ‘Cyber Security for Student’ was organized. Speaking during a presentation, Kaspersky Bangladesh Head Mirsad Hossain said, “By the year 2022, a $ 133 billion market would be created in cyber security. We can be a big part of it. That’s why our young people need to be ready.
If we can create skilled labor, great opportunities can be created in this sector.
Creative IT will provide free three-day training for the participants of the workshop, said Monir Hossain, CEO of the organization. The program was conducted by Arif Ibn Ali, The secretary of DUCSU Science and Technology. Among others Abdali Al Mamun, Senior manager of Evaly, and Mahmudul Hasan Shaon, Security Leader of @Bangladesh were present.

All members of the champion team will receive laptops as winning the prize, the first runner-up team will receive smartphones and the second runner-up team will receive tablet PCs in the contest. They will also receive crest and certificates. The winning women’s team will receive a special honor. Besides, the winning team will also have the privilege to do their interns from the leading IT Company. Foreign experts along with Bangladeshi experts in cybersecurity will be judging the contest
