Infinix and PalmPay partner to make smartphones affordable for everyone

In a groundbreaking partnership set to revolutionize smartphone accessibility, Infinix, a leading global smartphone brand, has joined hands with PalmPay, a prominent fintech platform, to make premium smartphones more affordable for users worldwide. This collaboration combines Infinix’s cutting-edge technology with PalmPay’s innovative financial solutions to bridge the digital divide and empower millions with modern connectivity.
Partnering with PalmPay, Infinix is making smartphone ownership more accessible, enabling users to stay connected in the rapidly evolving digital world. The collaboration reflects a commitment to making advanced mobile technology attainable for all, regardless of financial limitations.
This partnership is set to empower budget-conscious consumers, especially those from the limited-income segment, to own their dream smartphones without the financial strain of upfront payments. PalmPay’s advanced and user-friendly platform provides customers with secure, interest-free or low-interest payment options, further enhancing accessibility to Infinix’s latest devices.
Empowering Dreams with Easy Installments
Smartphones have become essential tools for education, career growth, and connectivity. However, many individuals face challenges in purchasing high-quality smartphones due to the financial burden of single payments. The partnership between Infinix and PalmPay addresses this gap by providing an affordable and hassle-free installment option, enabling consumers to enhance their lives with technology while staying within their means.
Simple, Transparent, and Affordable
The process is designed to be straightforward and transparent. To purchase a smartphone worth BDT 10,000, for instance, customers need to make an initial down payment of only BDT 2,505. This includes:
• 20% down payment: BDT 2,000
• One-Time Membership Fee: BDT 25
• Processing Fee (1% of loan amount): BDT 80
• Security Deposit (5% of total price): BDT 400 (adjusted in the last installment)
The remaining balance, along with a nominal service charge of 2% per month, can be paid in six equal installments of BDT 1,494 each. The last installment, reduced by the security deposit, will be BDT 1,094. This ensures that consumers enjoy financial flexibility without hidden costs.
How to Avail the Facility
To make the process accessible to all, the requirements are minimal. Customers need to provide:
• A copy of their NID card and mobile number
• An original office ID card
• A copy of their guarantor’s NID card (the guarantor must be a family member).
• Buyer must provide proof of correct income statement
Breaking Barriers for the Limited-Income Class
This initiative is more than just a financing option; it’s a lifeline for those who have long aspired to own a high-quality smartphone but were held back by financial constraints. The partnership between Infinix and PalmPay removes the need for credit cards, which are often inaccessible to many, and replaces it with a flexible, inclusive solution.
For students pursuing education, young professionals’ kick starting their careers, and families looking to stay connected, this collaboration provides a tangible way to enhance their quality of life. It’s a testament to the commitment of both Infinix and PalmPay to foster inclusivity in technology adoption.
Consumers can visit their nearest Infinix store or authorized retailer to take advantage of this offer. With this innovative EMI facility, Infinix and PalmPay are not only enhancing smartphone accessibility but also bringing dreams within reach for countless individuals and families across Bangladesh.
