Huawei distributes winter clothes to elder citizens

World’s leading ICT and network equipment provider Huawei, distributes winter shawls and blankets among old citizens at Singra upazilla in Natore today.

The honorable state minister of ICT division of the ministry of Posts, Telecommunications & Information Technology Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak distributes the warm clothes as Chief Guest along with the CEO of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd Mr. Zhang Zhengjun. Some other high officials of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd. were also there.

Honorable state minister Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak appreciates this initiative saying “Huawei is creating values in the development of ICT and communications for last 21 years. We have also found them beside us, beside the needy people suffering for flood, winter or natural disaster or in any viable need.”

The CEO of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd Mr. Zhang Zhengjun thanked Mr. Palak for his appreciation and said, “We are here to building ICT infrastructure to enable the people and the industries. We are capitalizing our efforts to make Digital Bangladesh 2021 vision. And beside that we also give importance to our social responsibility. So, whether in village, in school, during the disaster and in many cases we want to be involved. We are In Bangladesh, For Bangladesh.”

Huawei is not only a leading ICT industry player but also a responsible organization towards the society. It has devoted itself in many activities especially in four aspects, namely: bridging the digital divide, promoting environmental protection, supporting stable and secure network operations and also supporting local communities.
