To promote sustainable development for the future, HONOR has recently brought eco-friendly bags for its customers. The initiative is part of the first of its kind for any smartphone brand in the country. These bags are certified by Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR).
The biodegradable bags are internationally certified by both Din Verto and Universal Life Verification System (ULVS). Din Verto is a certification mark associated with DIN CERTO, a certification body of TÜV Rheinland Group. DIN CERTO provides certification for compostable and biodegradable products. The certification is backed by the German Institute for Standardization and is highly respected for its rigorous standard development process. ULVS offers certification for compostable products that meet the ISO 14855-1:2012 standard.
The bags are crafted with biodegradable materials that, when discarded, decompose naturally in the soil. The process enriches the earth with value, turning each bag into a step toward a greener planet.
Muzahidul Islam, Deputy Country Manager, HONOR, said, “Sustainability is at the core of our mission, with Go Green, Go Beyond. We feel thrilled to bring biodegradable bags and encourage consumers to make eco-conscious choices by joining us in creating a sustainable future. Every small action adds up to a significant impact on the environment.”
