Grameenphone Limited and Bangladesh Post Office has signed on an agreement to make digital financial services accessible to the broader segment of people through digital and mobile telecom network.

Head of Financial Services, Grameenphone Limited, Rasheda Sultana and Director General of BPO Mr. Sushanto Kumar Mondol inked the agreement at GPO, Dhaka.

As nations first and universal Digital Financial Service platform, “NAGAD” will play a vital role in socio-economic development of the country as well contribute in developing the livelihood of the mass population of the country through financial inclusion.

On behalf of Grameenphone Limited, Raihan Rashid, Director, Stakeholder relationship of Corporate affairs division; Md. Saiful Hasan, Stakeholder Relationship and Fazle Abed, Partnership Financial Services were present at the agreement signing ceremony.

On behalf of `NAGAD’, Tanvir A. Mishuk, Managing Director; Rezaul Hossain, Director; Md. Shafayet Alam, Executive Director; Sadat Adnan Ahmad, Chief Commercial Officer; Solaiman Sukhon, Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs and senior officials of the company were also present at the event.
