Foodpanda signs Mominul and Soumya

Foodpanda is a global online food ordering marketplace where people can choose and order from the widest range of food places around their area. Foodpanda is a venture of the largest internet incubator, Rocket Internet, and was founded in Bangladesh in the year 2013.

The Pakistan cricket team is attending Bangladesh to play in the Dan Cake Cricket series, starting on the 17th of April, 2015, against the host country. For the series, two renowned batsmen of the Bangladesh Cricket team, Mominul Haque and Soumya Sarkar, have gone into an agreement with Foodpanda. The two batsmen will have the Foodpanda logo embedded on their bats and will also appear on various online and offline marketing campaigns and activities with Foodpanda.

The signing ceremony took place in Sonargaon Hotel recently. Ambareen Reza, the Country Head of Rocket Internet, Zubair B.A Siddiky, Managing Director of Foodpanda and Sakerina Khaled, Marketing and Creative Coordinator of Foodpanda, were present at the ceremony along with the two batsmen for the agreement. The ceremony was a successful one where Ambareen Reza, on behalf of the entire foodpanda team, expressed utmost gratitude in having the two rising stars of the Bangladesh Cricket team on-board with this campaign.

The Bangladesh Cricket team has showed great potential in their recent matches at the World Cup 2015. The foodpanda team believes in the Bangladesh Cricket team and wishes them all the best for their future matches.
