eGeneration held their 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the capital on Monday. Adoption of annual accounts and the impending Initial Public Offering of the company were amongst the important discussions which took place. The meeting also provided a review of eGeneration’s activities, business verticals and partnerships in 2018, plan about the HR and workplace, financial updates, and an open forum discussing future plans and initiatives.Board of directors, shareholders and notable institutional investors of eGeneration took part in the discussion.
Shameem Ahsan, Managing Director of eGeneration said,“eGeneration was able to show amazing strides as we recorded a revenue that is up 28% from last year and on boarded large scale conglomerates and BFSIs along with Government projects. eGeneration has become the first Software company in Bangladesh to have filed for IPO. We take this with pride as we share this with our valued stakeholders and investors. This is a sign of eGeneration’s commitment to creating greater stakeholder value for the long-term.”
eGeneration’s Director, SM Ahsraful Islam presented the activity report of the year 2017-18 and Director, Syeda Kamrun Ahmed presented the strategies, planning and process of the company. Among the Board of Directors, also present were Ariful Hasan, Independent Director and Barrister Hamidul Mishbah, Independent Director.
